SW San Diego Dolphin swim ?

Do you think it would be mean to our 4 yr old dd to let our 7 yr old dd do the Dolphin swim at SW san diego? I don't know how long it lasts, but if we did it would be myself and dd7 and then dh and dd4 would take pictures (if they are allowed in that area???) Also, does anyone know how good of a swimmer you must be to do this? Any info about what they do and how long it lasts would be great!!!

I didn't know you could swim with dolphins at SW San Diego. I checked out the SW web site and this is what I found:

Dolphin Interaction Programme (DIP)
Take the plunge with dolphins at SeaWorld California. Have you ever wanted to enter the watery world of dolphins? Now is your chance with SeaWorld's Dolphin Interaction Programme (DIP). Our splashy DIP begins with a learning session that introduces you to dolphins. Learn about bottlenose dolphin anatomy, physiology, natural history, dolphin husbandry and animal training at SeaWorld. Then, wade into our shallow water where trainers will introduce you to our dolphins. Our wetsuits and booties make this a comfortable experience. You'll have an incredible face-to-face encounter with a dolphin, feel the dolphin's cool skin, give a training signal, and perhaps even feed a dolphin.

Swimming is not required during these shallow-area interactions. Participants must be at least six years old and at least 3' 8" (1.12 m) tall. The entire programme lasts 90 minutes. In-water experience lasts 20 to 25 minutes. Locker rooms and showers are available for your convenience.

Do you have any idea how much this costs? Will you be at SW again when the 4 y.o. is old enough to join in? Or will you ever be in Orlando where you can go to Discovery Cove?
