Me again. Just read on SW/DC thread that you can buy one refillable cup which you can pay to refill in US/ IOA / DC / SW and AQ. Has anyone actually done this? Sounds too good to be true!
Wrong parks but we did a test this time how much drink you actually get in a Disney soda. We took some bottles of drink in with us then asked for cups of ice. They gave us regular sized cups filled with ice, we poured in the drink from a 500ml bottle, could only fit in about 125-150ml. Reason when we do buy Disney drinks we always ask for no ice, they are always cold enough without and you get about 3 times the aount for your money.
We always ask for fountain drinks with no ice, even in this country
And us![]()
We did it one year at Universal when we stayed 3 nights. I think they are something like $7.99 to buy then 99c to refill.
I prefer to take bottles of iced water into the parks, I buy a gallon of water for $1.99, refill bottles and freeze each night or buy 24 bottles for $3-4.
Didn't know about taking it to SW & Aquatica.

24 bottle of water for $3-4 dollars! That's cheap! Much better idea, thank you. Do you know if there's a shop near SpringHill Suites SeaWorld. I think I read there was somewhere but I haven't written it in my Florida notebook!
Don't like the taste unfortunately, prefer bottled but if we run out of bottled its better than the water fountains. When at WDW you can ask for cups of ice water, then you don't have to carry around the bottles at all.

We stayed at springhill suites seaworld and there is a shop literally in the carpark! I can't remember the exact name but it was Walgreens type pharmacy that sold everything, also across the rd from that was what they would we would call a mini market another place that sold holiday souvenirs plus water and other confectionary type items![]()
I have refillable cups for Universal and SeaWorld. Sometimes I buy soda refills, but their drinks stations will fill your cups with ice water free. It is worth it to bring my cups back for that alone. They are very large cups, and water fountains at Universal never seem to have cold water.
Did you buy a cup in each park? It was just that I read about a cup you can use at both Seaworld and universal? Thanks
