SW rates--Friday vs. other days

In general, how do SW rates compare if we fly on a Friday versus flying on a Wednesday or Tuesday? I know Tues. and Wed. are lower than other days, but how bad are Friday rates?

Are Fridays in general the same, lower, or higher than Saturdays?

In general, I find Friday rates to be higher than Saturday. Usually Fridays aren't included in Ding specials either.

When I booked our flights for April, friday night was cheaper than Saturday. We have to fly in on Fri or Sat because we're staying in a timeshare and they can only be booked Sat-Sat. Flying in on Friday gives us an extra day in the parks.

on the SW website, there is a tab for each day of the week. Just click on the different tabs and see how the rates change. You will be surprised to find there are low rates on just about everyday of the week. The difference being the time of the flight and the number of stops that you can deal with. I will qualify by saying this is so from the DC/Baltimore market where there are many flights a day in and out of Orlando.
