I find these boards very addictive and extremely useful. I have a question and hoping that someone can help me. We are going to Orlando in October and I have been waiting to book the air since is off season but I was in the SW site and the cheaper fares for our return date is already unavailable the cheaper ones that are left are "fun fares" ...my question is should I book now or wait ...but would they open up those fares again? What is your experience so far? :confused3 We are leaving out of BUFF.

Thanks so much.

:confused3 and excited at the same time!!!!

Hi, chances are those fares won't open up again. If your dates are definite I'd book them. If you're flexible look at the days around when you want to come home.

Have a great trip...southwest is awesome!

Ticket prices tend to be lower for Wed - Thurs flights. Check the days just before or after your initial choices, if you have some flexibility. AS well, keep watching for Dings or for new flights to open up. For our April flights I had a Sunday night booked, then when I checked an early morning flight opened up with cheap fares. Those fares were only available for a day or two...

Just check, they change and append to schedules all the time....
