Has anyone recieved an infant fare on southwest airlines? I read they offer "reasonable rates" for infants, but you have to call customer service. Just wondering what others have gotten for infant rates. Thanks.

Infant fare is usually going to be half of their FULL fare.
Just get baby a Ding! fare or whatever lower, internet rate you're getting, and it will be cheaper.
Unless you like having the full, totally refundable fare, then half of that will be a bargain for you! I don't do that, but I'm sure there are those who do.
Thanks. I was able to get the rates....but it doesnt seem so reasonable. Bumbershoot, you were right, the internet fare is cheaper than the infant fare. Now I need to decide if I want to buy a seat for ds, 10 months, or have him as a lap child. He is already 20 lbs, so in 4 months I just think he will be too big to be in our lap for 3 hours.
