I just checked our flights from ISP to MCO - I am hoping for a ding or internet fare. The prices just went up to $129 one way? UGH. Is there any hope for a ding????

I also noticed Airtran's fares went up $5 across the board. A normal discounted fare from Indy to MCO used to be $87 is now $92. Each fare class also went up by $5. Southwest also appears to have raised there fares by $5 as well.

This could be a perminant fare increase across most discounted carriers.

Maybe a sign of the times and high fuel prices.

I noticed that their big Southwest Systemwide Sale went up by $35. each way for our region (Tulsa). That really bites. :confused3 Not much of a sale to me.

Hi 2mickeys1minnie:
I just checked sw this morning too:scared1: !! I am leaving out of islip on aug 28 (booked $59 rate) however i want to change my airfair to the 27th (now $99 to $129:scared1: )

i too am hoping for a ding :cool1: and i think that is the reason why i think they upped their prices because a ding is just around the corner:cheer2:

I think (or at least I hope) that dings are just around the corner also. They has some really good ones for July and I hope there will be some good ones for August. I have also noticed that around the dates I am traveling many cities to and from show lots of availability for Orlando -- another good sign I think. I've turned my speakers on at work so I can hear the ding as soon as it arrives!

dis2cruise - we are flying out on 8/25 and returning on 9/2 (hopefully). I am booked for $99 each way right now but my return flight is 9/1 and I really want 9/2. Let's hope for some good ISP to MCO & back Dings:)

I just got a ding yesterday and we were planning on driving. The ding was for $30 one way from Columbus, OH to Orlando. We got 4 round trips for $323.20 out the door!!! I was so excited, can't drive that cheap. We had to change our flying day from Sunday to Saturday, though. Not a big deal for us, we were flexible. We just got back Memorial day weekend from our first trip down this year and got a flight with only 16 days advance notice for that trip. It's not out of the question that you might get a good ding or sale before you go. Check daily.
