I had been tracking SW airfare from KC and should have bought it when I saw it at like $45 per segment but didn't and now it's back up to $99. Anybody have any experience with this and think it will come back down?? Flights are in September.

Just keep checking, like every day! I have adjusted mine twice now. I am going late June and today I saved $47 per segment. (for each of us - 4) I'm flying out of St. Louis.

K .. thanks .. will keep checking. I have noticed when I check over the weekend it's usually up quite a bit and then they bring it back down again. Hopefully it will come back down to $45

I too noticed fares went on up - I am thinking it went up today. Anyway, if you aren't traveling for awhile - I am thinking fares may be on further "sale" for Father's Day. I would keep checking though. Regardless, fares are really much cheaper than they were last year!

The good part about booking on Southwest is that if a lower fare comes out after you book, you can modify your flight dates or times or simply re-book to get it without any change fee.
