I am looking at SW website for a flight in April. We are looking to fly down to MCO from RDU for our cruise April 10th-17th but I'm actually looking at flight dates of April 8th (depart) and 17th (return). These are the prices so far:
April 8th - $122 per person
April 17th - $141 per person

Is that a decent price or should I wait and see if the prices come down? I know that April is a busy month due to Easter and spring breaks so I just don't know what would be best! Thanks for any and all advice!:)

SW released those fares about 3 weeks ago. I know because I booked my trip from PHL on SW for 4/16 - 4/24 then. My fare has gone UP more than double since I booked with SW. So I'd say grab it. Most likely a lot of people also booked when fares were released and fares won't be coming down! I know on my dates, most of the flights are sold out of the cheap "gotta get away" fares due to spring break.

Is Tampa an option you may consider? I have flown into Tampa before. It would be a 2hr drive to Cape Canaveral. SW has nonstop flights for $98.00.

If you're definite that you will be flying SW I'd book it. My flights from Providence,RI to Orlando have changed so much since I originally booked that I've gone from $1357 for 4ppl to $918. The beauty of SW is that if you check your flights daily (which I strongly recommend if you want to save $) and notice a price drop, you can change the reservation to get the new price without penalty. The only thing is they do not refund the $, they hold it as a credit which you can use towards another flight purchased w/i a year from the original booking date.

Good Luck!

Lori:)
