Ok, just had a sudden thought. I bought my two tickets down to Orlando this morning. The price was okay, not great, though, and am hoping for the Anniversary sale and lower prices! But, I did buy EBCI, at the time, hoping to get a better boarding spot at that time. Now, after reading a comment in another thread, made me wonder if that was a mistake. I am hoping that my fare will go down in cost(points, actually as I used pts to buy), and am wondering, if it does do that, will that EBCI transfer to that flight or will I lose the money I paid for it, or will they possibly refund it and I need to rebook the EBCI part then? Anyone know anything about this? I am expecting or at least hoping that I will be keeping the same exact flight, (I really want the time I picked), just reducing cost. Would it matter either way, keeping the same flight or switching to another flight that day? TIA!
