Sorry if this has been asked, but just wondering if anyone has purchased it, was it worth it & how long before your trip did you purchase it? Just debating on whether to spend the extra $50 each way....thanks!:goodvibes

Only you can decide if it's worth it. If you dont want to have to worry about checking in at t-24 to get the best available boarding pass, buy it. I know a lot of folks will not buy it when leaving for WDW, but will for return so they dont have to try to check in at a resort desk, or cell phone, or guest service in a park, or hope someone back home does it for you.

Can also not be worth it if you have kids 4 or under, as they can board between A and B group etc etc..

The only reason you should consider doing this is if you really want everybody to sit together. In my case, everybody I travel with is older and can sit by themselves. I don't kill myself to check in at t-24...I do when I can. If I get C boarding passes, that's ok with me.

I personally would never pay for this. But then again, really besides having one adult sit with DS3 I could care less if we all sit together. That just doesn't bother me. As long as you are able to check in right at 24 hours, you should still have no problems getting at least 1 adult with each child. If you have older kids/adults, then it really doesn't make any sense to pay for it.

My experience in December (both times I checked in at 24 hours exactly) was going down we got B20-B24. Since DS is 3 we did the family boarding between A-B. My mom boarded at her normal number and there were still PLENTY of seats available together towards the back of the plane. On our way home we were in the high A's.

Now if you were actually picking your exact seats, I might consider it if flying with younger children who can't preboard (ie on Airtran where they don't do preboarding on Orlando flights). But I find it absurd to pay an extra fee to possibly get a better seat. If everyone starts paying the fee you are back to square one....just your wallet is a lot lighter ;) Most people on these boards have a different opinion though.

:rotfl:My kids are at the age where I would probably pay the $10 to NOT sit with them (and I am certain they would pay the $10 NOT to be seen with us either!!)...for all of us the $100 we would need to do EB check in both ways will pay for a lovely dinner out at WDW....and we would ALL rather do that.

I probably fly SW 15 RT's a year and only once in the past 8 years or so have I ever gotten on a flight when I could not have gotten at least 2 seats together...and I do try to check in at the 24 hour mark but often am not even close....so I wouldn't sweat it.

Thanks for all your comments here...I don't want my kids to have to sit alone they are 9 & 13 but honestly...I hate to spend the $100 extra especially with no guarantee...as long as we are all on the same flight...:goodvibes
