I was wondering how often they cycle thru ding fares? I have been waiting for ding fare for Manchester - I think (hope) the last one was offered in mid Nov. Is it about once a month each city is offered or is it completely random? TIA!

Completely random.

Since we are a Hub ( or at least a hugh presence) here at BWI . We get many offers.

I think it all depends on how many flights out a day and how booked they already are.

We got our Ding fares for this Jan during the Thanksgiving weekend. Today I noticed they were available again (some had specific flights and days, though). Since I rarely miss a Ding, I'd guess the rotation for us has been about 2 1/2 weeks.
Hope this helps. :)

I have said this before but I will share it with you..........please do not always depend on a Ding.......always go to the page with your day of travel and check it. Most times I have had my flights go down in price but never received a Ding.

Have you noticed the decrease in flights going out of BWI in the last few months?

Not really we normally take the 7 something Am flight or 6 something in the AM if cheaper and they are always there.

Then we take either the latest flight back . Still see 6 to 9 NSs per day and thats not bad at all.

I think with them adding the Dullis ( I think it's tha one ) to their flights they might have cut back some. However i really didn't notice it. They did do a large draw from that western part of DC and VA so maybe thats their thinking.

Thanks for the input - it sounds completely random so I will keep checking. I am checking both the ding and the regular fares. The regular fares are good - but this would be a spur of the moment trip if we get a good ding fare. We have some credits we need to use up before they expire since we booked a regular fare last time and then got the ding.

Sometimes I never get a Ding but find good prices......
