SW Credit Extension??

I have an extension that expires on 11/21. I am planning another trip for 11/29-12/5 and tickets go on sale 6/23.

Do I have to consolidate the credit to 1 person and pay the $50 fee before 6/23 (SW opens tickets for this time period) or just before the credit expires on 11/21?

I thought you couldn't extend until your credit expires (ie - 11/21) which really stinks in your situation because of the timing of your next trip.

Hopefully someone will tell us both I'm wrong.

It's all coming back to me now...

OK, so I think the credit is good for one year from the date you booked your original trip. See this thread below. Basically, it sounds like you would have to combine your credits to 1 reservation *before* it expires. Then, after it expires, you can extend it.
