SW Christmas events?

It looks like they have some fun Christmas shows and lights in early December, but they only take place Fri-Sun each week. We were originally planning our visit for a Mon or Tues, but are thinking about changing that to see the Christmas events. Has anyone been during Christmas? Can you tell me anything about the lights or special shows?

Does anyone know if there is any additional charge for this? Like MVMCP at MK? Or, if we pay regular admission on a Fri-Sun, everything else is included?

Thanks! :)

At Sea World, everything is included in your admission ticket. This goes for the other events like Band Brew BBQ, Viva La Musica, Halloween Spooctackular, and anything else I can't think of at the moment.

They change the Wild Artic Ride over to the Polar Express train ride. There's two viewings of this, one is a sit down room with benches watching a screen, the other is a simulator like Star Tours. I think you'll be taking the benches. But there's always a huge line for this. I went on like the 28th and it never had a line shorter than 45 minutes, so I took my usually "passport member entrance".
They do a special Shamu christmas show at night, and I believe they change the fireworks for a holiday theme (or at least they offer the fireworks). Now Sea World doesn't extend their hours until much closer to Christmas Time. And during the off season, they close as early as 6pm.

There will also be a christmas night show featuring the Sealions and Otters. As well as a christmas themed ice skating show at night before the fireworks. The park is decorated with lights and costumed characters. It is a great even for the family.

Don't mean to hijack the thread, but we are thinking about going to SW for the Christmas festivities during our WDW trip in Dec. Also considering getting the All-Day Dining Deal, since the park is open til 11:00 can anyone tell me if the dining deal restaurants are open later than usual also?

Yes, all restaurants should be open until park closing whether it be a 6pm park close or an 11pm park close. Hope your family has a great time at Seaworld! The christmas festivities are great!

Thanks so much for all the great info!! :goodvibes I think we're definitely going to go ahead & switch our days around to check out the Christmas events at Sea World. :)

Thanks for the info on the possibility of getting a 2nd day free with the military admission tickets. That may help us see everything with the 2 little ones this time, LOL ;)
