SW check in ?

I haven't flown in like 12 yrs and never had to do this.

Even 12 years ago it was one boarding pass per person. If checking in at home is so problematic, wait until you get to the airport. Not getting into the A boarding group won't be the end of the world.

I don't think anyone is mad, I personally am still confused as to why this is such an issue.

I doubt it is an issue and I think the poster is now on the correct track.
12 years ago you could not check in online, you went to the counter and got your boarding pass (one of the ways).
Some people get confused with things that are new or different. We should respect that and try to help rather than make them feel less than intelligent.

It depends on how you booked the tickets-individually or not. If you booked 2 tickets at once you will only have one confirmation number. :thumbsup2

Then I'm not sure why we had 2 different numbers...booked at the same time, same credit card, same flights, same last names...we got 2 different confirmation numbers. Oh, well, it all worked out anyway in the end.

I am sorry if you have a problem with me and being confused....

but ... I am sure you had no clue too when this started out.. or unless you never are confused....

The last time my sister in law had purchase all of the tickets for our family and it was a different airline and out from Newark.... (14 tickets total) and that was about 12 yrs ago... then they were tickets - nothing to do with the computer and checking in....

So... again I apologize for any inconvience and confusion on my part....

Alrighty then......I think most of us can understand when someone is confused. There is a lot to figure out when you are flying, and you are not a frequent flier!! No one wants to make a mistake and mess up anyone else's trip. Can you imagine if the OP only got some of the boarding passes printed out, and the others in her party ended up with section C? Come on now...lets try to be patient here. There is no need for 'shortness'...if you have nothing helpful to post, then move along. There is no need to make someone feel foolish or dopey!!
Here's hoping the OP has gotten it all figured out. I know I still get a bit crazed when I fly SW. :thumbsup2
