sw cancelling question please

We were thinking that we were going to have to cancel our flight because our daughter has been sick. Her fever has not returned yet, so maybe there is still a chance. If I print out my boarding pass, could I still cancel our flight and get a credit?

Yes. Even if you don't cancel it, if you don't show up, SWA will automatically give you credits. Remember, you have to use your credits (actually fly somewhere) within 1 year of the original purchase date.
