SW book now or wait for Ding????

I am going in August and I can't stand waiting to plan everything. Right now the flights I want are available (Manchester to Orlando) for 190. RT. I was hoping for a Ding of 150.00, but no dings yet for August. I know they would give me a credit, but I wouldn't be able to use it, so that does me no good. I am just worried that my flight choices won't be offered. What should I do???

we are in the same situation...going to WDW in August, still waiting for SW to come down in price. I can get $99 each way right now for my dates, but I am waiting for a sale or Ding. I don't want to book and take the credit as I am booking with TTF from a previous trip and they expire in December. Any credit I receive from this trip will go to waste.

If you can be flexible with your flights, I would wait it out. Last year I booked our August flights when they were released in April and several weeks later, the price went down. Then I got Ding's ontop of it too. The August Dings won't come out until probably June.

I am waiting for better rates in Oct. I have my flight booked because I had a rapid rewards credit. I have a one way booked for my husband (had a $140 credit) but am going to hold out a little longer as I now only have $30 left. My only concern is that we are flying on the Saturday of Columbus day weekend and our flight time shows no availability at the 2 lowest catergories. They showed unavailable even the 1st day they were released. I really don't want to spend $188 one way!

I am booking my flight now- 69 dollars one way nonstop out of Buffalo, can't be beat!!!

Same issue. I can book for August now at $200+ RT from RDU on SW. I keep getting DINGS for May and June - one was for $25 each way!. I may get nervous and go ahead and book so i can get a good time and then take the credit if I get a better price (forcing us to go on yet another trip to Orlando - oh no! )
