SW/Alamo ?

A couple of quick questions.

SW?
If I print my boarding pass at home, can I go straight to the baggage check?

Alamo?
If I check in on-line, can I bypass the counter and go straight to the lot?
That’s my understanding.

Are the keys in the cars?
Do you just grab the car type you selected?

As for airline check-in, once you have a boarding pass you can go straight to the gate.

As for Alamo, yes, if you do on-line check in go straight to garage & pick your car. Keys are in the doors. You will have to show your print out, license & credit card used to the attendant in the drive thru booth on the way out but that's it.

Can NE1 check into Almamo online? Or do you have to be a member of what ever "club" type thing they have? If you do can you become a member after you reserved your car and then check in online? Thanks for letting me hop in here!

I think as long as your confirmation shows the "click here for on-line check in" option then anyone can do it. My understanding is that it is more connected with a ressie than a person.

If you are not in their system already you will be asked to provide DL# along with CC info. You must be able to print out a receipt when you do this since you must show it,along with your DL & CC, to the clerk at the drive thru booth on your way out of the garage.

The biggest problem with this system is that if you use a coupon with your ressie you can't check-in online. I don't know why they can't figure this out - National lets you use coupons and just hand them to the attendant in the booth, why can't Alamo? They're the same company!
