SW airlines out of Albany

Anyone ever flown with SW out of Albany? I'm not looking forward to the drive to Disney and after seeing other postings about SW I looked into them and they fly out of Albany. We can get tickets for 5 of us for just under $600 US. Can't beat that. Its a six and a half hour drive from Ottawa. Just wondering if its worth the drive. We usually fly out of Syracuse. Opinions please!

I too have just discovered SW and until a couple of days ago was going to drive to Orlando in FEB. Now, we're thinking SW from BUF. If you don't already have it, I suggest downloading their DING software for fare specials.

Albany is a very easy airport to get to - very simple directions and very little traffic. It is literally 5 minutes off the Adirondack Northway (87), longterm parking is only $5 per day and Southwest has 3 (approx.2hr 45min) non-stops a day to Orlando! I think at those rates it may be a good idea.
