Hi All,
I am in need of some advice! I have flown to WDW many times, but this next year will be the first time I have flown during a holdiday week. I am looking at flying from Denver to MCO on Friday March 26th and coming back Monday, April 5th (Easter is April 4th).
My dilemma is of course airfare. Right now I can get on Froniter for $1276.80 which is for the midgrade ticket (no checked bag fee, free direct tv, advance seat assignement). Not bad for four people coming from Denver. I can't decide if I should go ahead and take this or roll the dice and wait for Southwest.
It says on their site they'll release fares for flights through March 12th on September 3rd, I have no idea when they will release fares for dates beyond that (is there a set formula they have on when fares will be released?).
What is the typical fare Southwest would have if I booked as soon as the window came up for a busy holiday week? I am not asking for dollar amount, but rather since other airlines will have had fares out for that busy week for awhile, will Southwest fares be hgh as well, even when they are first released? Right now United is way higher than Frontier. I am just not sure what to do!
