Had sushi for the first time tonight. I figure since I'm going to WDW in a few weeks, no better place to get world-class dining and have sushi again. Anyone who's had sushi in WDW, can you let me know what you had and if the fish component of the sushi was cooked or raw. I've already viewed the menus from Teppan Edo and Tokyo Dining, just don't know what is what. Thanks so much in advance.

We've had sushi at what is now called Teppan Edo several times, typically for lunch. My wife would get "baby sushi" (California Rolls ;)). I'd typically get a few different types of Nigiri; tuna and salmon, always, yellowtail if they'd have it.

I just checked out the menu at Teppan Edo. It looks like a great starter menu for someone new to sushi. I'm thinking that just about everything on that menu would be very approachable for someone with limited sushi experience...pretty vanilla and nothing too "out there" so to speak...

My favorite sushi is always something with salmon in it. I like the plain salmon roll as well as the spicy salmon or spicy tuna rolls.

Wolfgang Puck's had GREAT sushi and Tepan Edo was fantastic. If you are new to sushi sometimes the rolls are less intimidating to start with.

My 4 year old loves sushi (we only give her shrimp tempura or other cooked roll) and gets so excited whenever we have it. I hadn't planned sushi into our trip, but I should. What a treat to have this in Japan!

If you are not on the dining plan, consider Kimonos at the Swan resort.

We got ADR's for Teppan Edo. Very excited. DH can enjoy hibachi and I think I'll most likely have a California roll. Thanks for the help.
