I agree...Colby was very easy on the eyes. :teeth:
Yes, I also agree Colby was VERY easy on the eyes!! I just saw him a couple of weeks ago on the comedy series Rodney on ABC. He played a guy that took Rodney's job, and did it better than Rodney.

BTW, did the survivors get to keep what was left of the $500 from the reward challenge?

Jeff said at the beginning of the challenge that they could keep any money they did not spend. :sunny:

Recap of Thursday April 28th show. For those of you who missed it, also check out the recap on the CBS website. You can see some video of the show. Survivor on CBS

With the tribe beginning a 4/3 spit in favor of the women, Steph makes an attempt to turn the tables and make an all girl alliance to vote out the men. But it soon became evident that Caryn was going to be the one hold out, thinking that she and Tom had an alliance.

Reward Challenge: Missing in Auction

The reward challenge was an auction. Each person was given a small wallet that held $500.00 they would use the money to bid on food or other items. But there was one catch…they could not see what they were bidding on. The item would only be reveled after the gavel had been struck to end the bidding.

First, Jenn ended up paying $120 for an ice cream Sunday. Then Caryn and Steph slit the cost and a plate with a double cheeseburger, fries and coke. Next up was Ian who for the low price of $300 got a plate of spaghetti with meat sauce, garlic bread and Parmesan cheese, and Gregg chipped in $20 buck of the $300 for a bite. Ian was also able to pick up a cold bottle of beer for the extra close out price of $40.00!

Then the auction took a sentimental turn as Jeff came out with letters from home. Tom, having not bought anything was able to get the bidding as high has $220 for a letter from home. After his was picked up Jeff offered the others a chance at their letters at a cost of $220. Steph, Caryn, Katie and Gregg were all takers. After that the auction was declared closed.

IMMUNITY CHALLENGE: KAMIKAZE

This challenge had our 7 survivors standing behind a line that was in front of 35 multi-colored ceramic tiles, that was 5 tiles for each of them. After a drawing of colors, each would throw a coconut at the tiles in hopes of breaking their colored tile. The first to get their 5 tiles broken won Immunity.

As the coconuts flew and the tiles started to break, Caryn, Ian and Gregg jumped into the lead. As more tiles were broken, Ian found him self very close to winning. And with the help of Tom, Ian’s final red tile was broken giving Ian a chance to wear the IC necklace for the first time.

After the IC it started to rain, and every one was huddled in the shelter, no one was talking. But after the rains cleared Katie took Caryn out to look for food. While out she approached Caryn about the women’s alliance and that they would like to vote out Tom. Caryn immediately stole away from camp with Tom and told him what the women’s plans were. The first thing out of Tom’s mouth was why are you telling me this? And Caryn’s only answer is, because I thought you should know. Tom then goes to Ian and lets him in on what he has just found out. Ian goes to Katie and asks what was going on. Katie tells him that she still has an alliance with him. But she would still like to see Tom go.

But in the end the old Koror alliance won out and Stephanie was voted out 6 to 1. Stephanie’s vote going to Caryn.

Glad they got to keep their $$$-I think Steph should of used the girls vs boys ploy more-I mean I think this was the only chance they had to ensure a woman wins!!!- and now Tom has a chance to take it all!!(not that he doesn't deserve it-he's played a good game so far) Sure do hope that the immunity challenges get better though-didn't like this one much at all :sad2: -And wish people would stick to the topic and not bash the President-I mean all through the history of TV, shows get interrupted for the President, he even mentioned that he needed to stop taking ?'s, so that all of us could watch our shows(thought that was :rotfl: ) Anyways I am looking forward to next weeks show!!!!

Man, Gregg is such an operator! I really think he's the one pulling strings behind the scenes. He convinced Tom and Ian to vote Steph last week (but Janu ruined his plans), and I'm pretty confident the girl thing would have never worked out. Clearly, they didn't have confidence in Caryn. But my vote is for Gregg to take it, he's physically strong, has Jenn in his pocket, and nobody sees him as a threat.

I really think the lack of TC's for this group affects how they perceive the game. Weaker players are still in it and the strong ones don't see the kind of conniving that you usually get. Can't say I care for it as much, but it is interesting to see how it plays out. Anyway, you heard it here first, Gregg to take it.

Oh I totally agree. They need to vote Gregg off if they want to have any chance at winning. He's so good at talking the others into voting for the person who he sees as a threat to him.
I was really sad to see Stephanie go. I was hoping she'd make it to the end and hopefully win. :goodvibes

I don't think these people saw All-Stars... it was probably playing here while they were out on Palau filming. If they had seen it, I think they'd be a lot more wary of Gregg and Jenn. Either that or Gregg and Jenn would never have gotten so cozy to begin with.

Stephanie played a great game and I would have liked to see her go further. I'm just really glad it wasn't Tom. After Constantine losing on AI the night before I didn't want Tom to lose last night. :) I think this has been one of the better years with some great players.

That's exactly what I was thinking. :scratchin

But what is really funny about that is that I read some where that Katie wanted to be on Survivor to LOSE weight! But to tell you the truth none of them look to worse for wear. When you take in account what some of the past survivors looked like by this time on their shows.

Potential "Pringle Trivia chip":
Which Survivor lost the LEAST amount of weight during their time on the show?

heheheh

And DANG Ian is skinny! I know he was skinny to begin with...but that boy is constantly losing his shorts!

I don't even KNOW Katie/Jenn...even last night was the first time we saw some strategy with Caryn. I feel like I hardly know Katie/Jenn or Gregg for that matter...they just seem like they are "in the background" because Tom/Ian and, to an extent, Steph, have been running the show.

Sad to see Steph go...she seemed like the only castaway who REALLY wanted to win this season...now I see it as a fight to the finish between the 3 guys...no way a woman will win this season.

honestly - now I could care less who won.

So, who's next? I don't think the remaining ladies have any clue what they have done by saying goodby to Steph. I think that Jenn will keep siding with Greg, and Caryn will be next to go, then Katie. The boys will just keep picking away at them, until it's just Jenn left of the girls. I'm not too sure that she will stay after that. Not unless Greg is really strong and convinces the girls to vote with him against Tom, making it 4 votes for Tom and 2 for whoever. Greg and Jenn really need to be broken up. I can't understand why nobody there sees that.
At this point I would love to see Tom and Ian at the end. It would be interesting to see how the jury votes in that situation. I don't think, that up to this point, either one of them has really upset anyone on the jury. Well, except for Coby.

ITA!

So sad to see Steph go.

Sad to see Steph go....

At least Steph tried to go out by actually winning the game. She wasn't satisfied with trying to just come in 4-6 like all the other girls appear to be. It just frustrates me so much that people are satisfied with not winning. Reminds me of that woman with Clay and Brian on Marquesas? She was satisfied with coming in 3rd. Didn't even try to get past them. So frustrating....makes me sad to be a woman sometimes. Caryn and Katie were complete idiots last night by not agreeing to a female alliance. Only Jen has a chance now for the women.

:sad2: Cannot wait to see the look on Caryn's face next week when she is sent packing. When her and Tom were walking along the beach, he said "we have 5 strong....and you could make it 6"....what?? outta 7?? Didn't she do the math?? :confused3 I will love watching Caryn, Katie, and Ian get picked off and then have Tom, Gregg & Jen in the final 3.....that's the way I think it'll go down. Ladies, you are a very stupid bunch (for not getting rid of Tom) and none of you deserve to win! And, IF Jen makes it to the final 2....I'm bettin' she wins.....she has "ridden the coattails" well...just like what's her name?....oh yeah! AMBER!

Katie doesn't bug me exactly, but I am trying to figure out why she isn't skinny like the rest of them! LOL I keep telling my DH that someone must be feeding her on the side. LOL (Not that she's fat, obviously, but she's the only contestant that I've ever seen NOT lose a lot of weight, especially at this point of the show!)

That is too funny. I was thinking the very same thing last night. And I don't remember her being heavy or anything at the beginning of the show. :confused3

Not sure why nobody is seeing the Jenn & Gregg connection. I don't think they will ever vote against the other one. And if the other are not careful they could end up sitting pretty just like Amber and Rob.

Soooo sad to see Stephenie go! Like somebody posted many pages back, on Survivor often the winner is NOT the person who most deserves it but the person who manages to sneak in under the radar. In my mind, Stephenie IS the sole survivor.

I remember a few weeks ago on this Survivor Tom and Ian were talking about the Gregg/Jenn couple being a threat, but they've had a couple of trips to tribal council and have done absolutely nothing about it. It's going to come back to haunt them - Gregg and Jenn will be the final two. Caryn will go next and then Katie.

I was sorry to see Steph go :(. She was my favorite.

I think that Gregg has a too much power in the tribe. I also think he has been "playing opposum" about his physical strengths, laying low now so he's not a target. He is the main force behind getting rid of the strong people right now. He and the 3 women are going to pick off Tom and Ian as soon as they can. It would have been interesting if the original 4-some had stuck togther. By voting off Steph, Tom and Ian played right into Gregg's hands. Steph, Tom, Ian and Caryn (who showed her loyalty to Tom) would have gone to the final 4. {{sigh}}

I think Gregg and Jen are going to the end. They are going to vote off Ton next because he is a big threat, then Ian will be next. Gregg and Jen will suck in Katie probably to vote off Caryn (or vise versa on that senario) then it will be just the 2 of them.

Gregg is the new Rob. But Jen in no way compares to Amber.
