Survivor on Board?

Any recent cruisers know if there are Survivor parties or if the ships can pick up a feed for Survivor on Thursday nights? I was hoping they would show it in Diversions or the Cove Cafe.

LOL! We will be gone 3 weeks and I am greatful that Thanksgiving is one day I believe they skip the show so I only have to make sure the VCR is set for 2 tapings.

I also bribe not one but two friends to tape it for me. Can anyone guess that I'm more than just a little obsessed? I have only missed two shows since I started watching it at the beginning of season two and both times I felt like throwing something!

On our cruise in May, it was the Survivor finale, where the winner was chosen. We did NOT want to miss it. The ship didn't do anything special, but we met in a fellow DISer's stateroom (they had a category 3 suite--really nice and roomy!) and watched it together.

Jen- We're on your cruise too and I made my friends at work promise to email me who gets kicked off as soon as they get to work so I can check my email. If it's not on I will look for you and let you know......not much help but at least we can discuss it!!!

I will probably miss next week too. We are taking a 9:50 pm flight from San Francisco and will be at the airport. DH said he will find someplace that has it on.

My DH's uncle works on the show but will not tell us anything-costs big money if he tells! At least we get to know where the next show is before this one is over.

Kristina-I have hope that we might get to see it in light of Bbgrizzle's message! I am taping it but would love to know if you find out who gets the boot (I can only hope it would be Jon!). I'm going to miss my weekly "o-dee-o" (the music) Survivor recap session with my co-workers but maybe we can have our own! Now I have to see if there's any Bachelor fans out there! LOL

Jen- Yep I am a reality t.v. fan and not afraid to admit it!!!! I too will wonder about the Bachelor......maybe the friends will email me for that too!

So happy to know there will be other Reality TV addicts out there. Last year we had to tape Survivor, Bachelor and Amazing Race. This year we only have two to tape. I hoping I don't find out who's booted off before I get home to watch. I'd be too upset if they get rid of Rupert. Jon's gotta go this week!

If there's enough of us we can take over the TV in the new sports bar. Okay so I'm dreaming, but it would be fun.

Tracy & Kristina...I'm sure we can take over Diversions...there are no big sporting events during the week (I'm a hockey fan...but it's early), so we should be able to see Bach & Survivor! I wonder how the time change would affect it...I might be at dinner when the show comes on since I'm at the late seating! ( See you on board!

A year ago this week we were on the magic, it was not on in a public place but we did go back to our room for that one hour!!One hour of a beautiful week was not bad to give up for TV.
