SURVIVOR-how they reveal votes question(spoiler)

when jeff announces the vote, is it random(which i don't believe) or not....for example, why didn't last week jan's vote get read??

It's not random, they put them in the order they want them. They are never in the order that they voted and when there is a close vote there are always like 3 for one and 3 for the other and then the deciding vote gets read. I hate the way they do that.

Jan's vote wasn't read because Jake already had enough to boot him. I do wonder if Jan ever learned about the vote at the time?

I don't think they find out at that time. Because when they did the Australia survivor I remember the tribes merged at 5 each. Then they voted for Colby and I think the other guys name was Jeff. When Jeff P. asked Colby how many votes he had, he said none, when he asked Jeff he said "one that I know of".
