I like Sia, but I am tired of her face hiding schtick. I'm glad she gave Tai some money and that she donated money to his favorite animal group.

Does anyone know the pay-outs for the contestants? I'm sure that the Jury gets so much and the F43 gets so much.

Can't remember when I've been so disappointed with who won, or shall i say didn't win.

I thought Aubrey was the best player followed by Cydney.

Such a shame.

TOTALLY Bummed Michelle won, what a complete let down. This was the lamest win ever. I was really hoping he'd would be able to bring back Marc the chicken back to the US, that would have been the highlight of the season!

I'm staying with my kids so I commandeered their tv last night so I could watch. Since they used to watch when they were younger they stuck around. They both thought it would have been funny if everyone voted for Mark. It would have been a better pick then Michelle!

Lamest win ever was Jenna Morasco. BEGGED to be sent home, was kept around for numbers, orchestrated ZERO moves, only went to the finale as a goat. Beat the guy who provided ALL the camp's food & won most of the individual challenges.

Heard Mark was adopted by a local family.
Here is Cyd's Ponderosa. I haven't watched yet but heard that it shows how bitter the jury was. Thoughts are that they voted Michele because they were bitter about Tai, Cyd and Aubry beating them out (them being the 3 donkey bros and ditz Julia).

I really only watched the last few episodes, so I had no real opinion on who should win.
I thought Sia's gesture was nice for Tai, but when Drew stood up, I though he was going to say he was a big fan of Aubrey's and give her some money. But, nope, just a commercial for the price is right. I did feel like Aubrey kind of got left out with that whole deal...

I was wondering the same thing. Here is what wiki says:

"The Sole Survivor receives a cash prize of $1,000,000 prior to taxes and sometimes also receives a car provided by the show's sponsor. Every player receives a prize for participating on Survivor depending on how long he or she lasts in the game. In most seasons, the runner-up receives $100,000, and third place wins $85,000. All other players receive money on a sliding scale, though specific amounts have rarely been made public. Sonja Christopher, the first player voted off of Survivor: Borneo, received $2,500. In Survivor: Fiji, the first season with tied runners-up, the two runners-up received US$100,000 each, and Yau-Man Chan received US$60,000 for his fourth-place finish. All players also receive an additional $10,000 for their appearance on the reunion show."

I don't have a clue who Sia is but I thought she was just some eccentric benefactor who wanted to remain anonymous. Didn't know the face covering was her shtick. How the hell does she see to walk around?

Even Jeff was getting annoyed with Tai and his incoherent, time- wasting ramblings.

Who was the third "donkey bros" beside Scott and Jason?

I did not care who won but I don't think Cydney should be surprised when the people she turned on don't particularly care for her. I know it is just a game but it was a game for a million dollars. They think she was instrumental in costing them the money.

Yeah I did think that. We had to cancel ours it was getting pretty pricey for 5 of us...and her dad was there and also very buff.

But still, she was a class act and a smart cookie...only her paranoid temper got the best of her a little. But I expected her to go to Ponderosa and be bitter but she was very pleasant and insightful.

asta- the 3rd donkey is Nick but he's not as bad as the other 2. He at least welcomed Cyd.

Look, it's a game. Yes, for a million dollars. But there can only be 1 winner and that is the writing on the wall as is the fact that there will be lying, back-stabbing and throat-cutting...just the nature of the beast. Those 2 main donkey bros (and Julia) acted like big babies.

Even Neal's response to Michele when she voted him off was that same kind of baby-ish behavior...or bad sport behavior. But with him it was a fresh wound as he had been sitting at Ponderosa all that time after getting pulled for a bug bite and at least he had the power to vote and that got snatched away from him. His response was immediate when the sting was still there. Those 2 donkey bros had been- how many weeks- distanced from Cyd's betrayal to them????

I would have rather seen that. They were the 3 stronger players out of the 4 too. Dang Michele winning that last IC. Maybe if Aubry and Cyd took the physical part of that IC more slowly they would have had the mental stamina to get that puzzle done...they seemed to choke on that part. But they would not have wanted to vote in that case...the 2 bros and Julia. I guess Nick would have sucked it up and voted. But those other 3....they might have wrote Mark down.

Where? Jeez, ours (at a chain that begins with a G) was like $100/month for 4- when I didn't belong and my DH and 3 teens did. And you have to pay some dumb initiation fee or something, on top of the monthly fees, when you join. Then when you quit, you can't just cancel online or call in and quit...no, you have to go in and speak to the manager who then salesman pitches you for an hour trying to get you to stay. I digress...but I hate that crap. We quit and my 2 DDs would like to go to a gym but I don't want a scam/used car salesman type place.

I didn't watch that season, so can't comment on Jenna. But, I think Natalie White from Survivor Samoa has to rank up there fot lamest wins. That was the definition of 'bitter jury.'
