Survivor 32- Beauty vs Brains vs Brawn

I actually like Scot better than many of the remaining players. Aubry has certainly come back from certain death. I still like Tai but I'm not sure he made the correct choice for himself.
This!!!

Tai has a huge target on his back now. Nobody will want to go up against him in the finale because they will lose. He just made a huuuuuge move in the game.... and he's generally well liked!

That was an awesome ending! I did not even realize Scot had Jason's idol until the little interview at the end, which made it even more awesome.

I'm sure Tai was smart enough to know that he had to keep his idol. If he gave it to Scot, there would have been a re-vote, since he and Aubry were tied for second. He would have definitely been at risk to get voted off himself. (ETA: Plus, he had already voted for Scot, so he certainly wouldn't give him the idol.)
Good point. I did not remember the part about they re-vote. Tai really had no choice but to keep the idol.

I wonder why Scot didn't give the idol back to Jason before he left.

That note...A- why would he go on Survivor when he has such a sick sister at home...and B- why didn't he play for the love letters from home in the reward challenge instead of playing for the cheeseburger??? He's still a dirtbag, IMO!

I said to DW last night as we watched that I don't think I would have played for the letter in that situation either. The food or the advantage would do so much more for you in the game than a letter from home.

I actually think Tai's in a good position. He can use his idol next vote, taking him to final 6. Then, he can use his extra vote. His odds are good getting to final 5. I think Jason gets to stay. Pretty sure that it will be Julia next unless she wins immunity. After Julia, there are many options..

Even knowing you have a sister battling cancer at home? I'd have to go for the letter. And her letter said she had to stop meds and her heart scan shows it was too damaged by the chemo so now it's time to say goodbye...or something to that affect.

I don't think he needs to use the idol next because I think Julia will be gone or Jason (though I suspect they'll keep him as the goat). Right now Jason is the best to have next to you at the end, then Joe (since he's so invisible), then Michele (since she's almost invisible), the maybe Cydney. Julia, Tai and Aubry should be sweating but Tai has 2 advantages so I think he's safe for awhile. And he's like Joe from last season- seems to be very good at challenges.

I'm always amazed by how weepy they get with stuff from home. Maybe I'm just not the sentimental type but I was thinking, "it's only been 27 days, folks!" I'd take the advantage first, the food second. You can keep the letters from home until I get back in the States.

If something had happened to her the show would have told him so yes I would still play for one of the other two prizes.

I hope the final 3 are Aubrey Tai and Cyndi are final 3, with Aubrey winning.

I like Cyndi and Tai but not Aubrey. To me she seems to one of those players who say others are sneaky and underhanded but when she does it all is good.

I would rather bring Julia than jason - Jason has an autistic daughter plus he's a vet. No way would I go up against that. People tend to have crappy memories.

I agree, but then you remember HOW isolated they are, sleep deprived and hungry. I think those three things serve to heighten your emotions. They literally have NO contact with anyone from home....not a tweet, email....nothing. That's a long time. I've been away from my family for a couple of weeks, but never out of contact. :-)

My wife and I were talking about Aubrey last night, I've become a fan of hers, IMO she's played one of the best games of Survivor that I can ever remember. Now let's see how far she can take it.

I agree. She grew on me. Not so, for my DH and son. They are all Tai (and were Scot).

I was a fan of his, until he aligned himself with Jason and Scot, i was disappointed in that. What he did last night was very big though.

This season is interesting, i think you've got one of the best players to ever play the game in Aubrey, and two of the biggest villains in Jason and Scot.

I think there have been better players than Audrey and better villains that Jason and Scott. Jason and Scott have been portrayed as being bullies and obnoxious but not in the same villainous ways as Hantz, Fairplay or Manthey.
