Oh my goodness! I am so thrilled that Sandra won. I thought both Rupert and Candice's speeches helped her win the money.

I just think it was absolutely hilarious that he said that he could beat Sandra. She sured showed him.

I am just so happy that she won over both Parvati and Russell, the underdog finally prevails!

Me 2. Russ underestimated Sandra and kind of humiliated her throughout the whole show. Yes she didn't do much in challenges and all that but she survived without being Russ doll (parv and danielle) Russell saw her as nothing many times. I loved when she burned the hat he burned Jaison socks and buried the machete , he wanted to burn Boston Rob's hat, but like a typical bully, its ok when he does it.

The jury at the end is part of the game. Its the part that Russell can't win. I thought he might have learned something from the last game, but his ego obviously kept him from learning something that might have helped him win.

He couldn't learn anything because he went straight into the next season before his season even aired. He thought that he won the first season. That's why he was so upset. I think at that point he realized that he had lost both seasons.

I also thought it pretty spiteful of Rob to not shake Russell's hand. And I was just beginning to like him.

These two seasons were taped back-to-back. Russell didn't know the outcome of the first season until after Heroes vs. Villains was complete. That's why he kept saying it was like he played "once". You're right about his ego, though.

After watching her on Ponderosa, she seems like she would be fun to be around. I wonder how the game would have went if Russell had gotten rid of Sandra instead of her. I'd like to know why Russell chose to get rid of Courtney over Sandra.

Because he always saw Sandra as nothing, he talked about her like she was just a thing and she never said anything because she knew that he would had gone after her, she is not as dumb as he thought she was.
He humiliated from the time he told Boston Rob in front of her and Courtney, "this 2" like if they were things Sandra was not the hot looking chick like Danielle and Parvarti.

What Rob should have said (and I think what he meant) is that Russell plays in a way that makes it impossible for him to win.

I don't get the Russell hate - from the players to (some of) the fans... Sandra telling him "the only people who like you here are there" (pointing to his family) - that's just nasty - not game play, not strategy, just nasty. Russell aluded to that a bit about her burning his hat - "Why would one of them do it now, the game is over, it's up to the jury?".

Russell is a great strategic player, and if he aligned with the right social player, he could end up winning. He (like Jeff P. has publicly stated) is definitely one of the best players of Survivor - ever.

Sandra is one of the most disappointing winners of Survivor ever - she did nothing except ride coat tails and run her mouth to get to the end, and in the end, it worked with the jury - she got the votes. She is quite arrogant and (unjustifiably) self-assured of her game play - the "Queen" of Survivor? Please!

She really was a non-issue for the end, as far as game play/physical/strategy - it should have been a vote between Parvarti and Russell - they played the game strategy-wise mostly equal, and very well.

I can understand why people hate Russell. He's one of those kind of people that you either like or don't like.

I also agree with you about Sandra. She is quite arrogant but some seem to think that it's okay if she is that way but Russell can't be. I don't care for her at all.

As far as her game play and riding coat tails. It seems that that kind of player tends to win a lot.

I really wish something had been said about the Coach/Jerri thing that seemed to be blooming.

And I would have liked to have heard what the players thought about Russell after watching him from last season. Would they have voted him out quickly, etc. Rob did say when they were doing the tribute that they voted him off when they should have.

Russell gets what Russell deserves, after watching how he talked about her, about women in general, about how he was better than everybody and she in particular would not get any votes because in his mind she wasn't worth anything, well, nasty deserves nasty.

There is no specific strategy, it can be not doing anything, not complaining, not making a lot of noise or pose a big threat, or it can be the opposite, everything is valid.

Sandra outsmarted Russell even better than Natalie.

Loved the FIC, what a crazy finish! How hilarious was it when Sandra burned Russell's hat, I couldn't stop laughing That was a priceless moment!

Rupert redeemed himself a bit when he gave his speech when he was voting for Sandra and at reunion- he is not annoying when he isn't talking about heroes and integrity all in that phony pirate voice.

I was ok with Parvarti or Sandra too. Parvarti worked hard to get there because she was well Parvarti, but her downfall was to be Russ toy. I loved it when she burned the hat

I think production made him said I won and I didn't win and they would used either footage. They do that a lot on TV they make 2 different videos. He would had been crying and itchin with a B if he knew.

And as far as we know, Rob may have asked him who on his alliance or which one of the villians should go next. It seems I remember something about that time they were losing the challenges and since Sandra and Courtney were the weakest on the team, it would make sense to get rid of one of them.

As far as Sandra outsmarting him, she had been trying to get rid of him until the final four or five and realized that taking him to the end would be best for her. It was obvious. Exactly! OK he didn't know the outcome of Samoa, but he was at the last TC and he even told Jeff that he knew he was not going to win because of the jury speeches.

I think that we see it that way, but they see it different. It was so obvious that Russell liked Parvarti and Danielle too, and like before Russell has no respect for women, he got rid of the guys because to him they are powerful, they are man, he said it many times, dumb itches with the B. Sometimes its not what you said its how you say it too. When Boston Rob was winning with Sandra all the puzzles Russell was jealous, when Boston Rob made fire, he was sooo jealous, he wanted all the attention, all the women attention because he thought they are just dumb girls, he didn't care about his tribe, it was just about HIM. Then later he realized that Parvarti was not so dumb so he tried to get rid of her but it was too late, so he had no choice and he kept Sandra because she was the dumb not hot pretty girl that didn't win anything. But she was always alert of everything and when she told in front of the jury that she was against him, that was a big thing for the Jury. At least that is how I see it. Russell has no respect for Women.

I remember that now. He figured out he was not going to win Heros vs. Villians by what was said to him by the jury but he just knew that he would win against the weak players he played against in Samoa. That's why he was so visibly upset at the final TC last season and took it so well this season.

I guess we'll just have to disagree on that point. I don't see it as outsmarting Russell. I felt that Sandra was very verbal as far as her dislike of him. We just weren't shown everything. Russell's downfall was expecting the jury to appreciate his gameplay, just like last season.

I know that people say that what goes around, comes around and Russell deserved everything that was done/said to him. I firmly believe in that concept because I have seen it happen. Maybe he deserved his hat to be thrown into the fire because he burned Jaison's socks. But Sandra is no better than Russell as far as I'm concerned.
