I've wanted to say a lot of things on this thread that I haven't because of the requests for no spoilers.

Let me be perfectly clear, me saying Russell was not voted out fifth does not imply that's he's in the final three. That just shows that spoilers aren't always right. The final three could be anyone, you're just assuming I'm implying Russell's in it, I'm not.

But what final 3? Why are you discussing Russell if you're not refering to a list that has him on the final 3?

Look, I don't care. I've seen the list. Saw it before the show even first aired. It's just interesting to me what is ok and what isn't.

Because I'm saying that he didn't get voted out fifth, not that he's in the final three.

I get it. What I don't get is anyone else NOT getting it.

Simply...spoilers aren't always right, and as an example, Russell was not voted out 5th as other spoilers had stated, so maybe this final 3 spoiler is wrong too.

Yes, that's exactly it. What I'm saying is not everyone got the pm and not everyone has read the list on their own. That statement gives away spoiled information which is what people have asked others not to do.

Um...no. The statement that you highlighted "so maybe this final 3 spoiler is wrong too" does not give anything away.

Yes. I understand better your point now. I guess most of us assumed everyone had seen it because it was posted several times on the thread and most of us were pm'd. Plus I heard that it was posted as a thread title on the community board although I never saw it myself.

I am so sad for the loss of our thread... Can't we just get it back on track??

Here's a question for discussion..

In past seasons, contestants were allowed to bring one or two "luxury items" with them. I believe contestants are always provided with bandages, antiseptic cream, condoms, tampons and sunscreen. They don't do the luxury item thing anymore. BUT if they did, and if you were going to go on Survivor, what 2 items would you choose to bring with you?

I'd want a (waterproof) camera, and something to do for fun, like a board game or something.

OOoooohh a waterproof camera - that's a good one, I hadn't thought of that.

My first thought was matches or a lighter, but I am not sure if that would be allowed. I thought about a deck of cards or a game of some sort too.

I think I might also want some of those tablets (made by Pur, I think) that you can drop into water to make it safe to drink - that way, if you don't have fire, you can always have clean water. And a big container of instant coffee. I know, I know, instant coffee IS nasty!! But about a week in, I think instant coffee would be SO better than NO coffee.

OK, scratch that - i am officially changing my answer. I could do without the water tablets - heck you get fire pretty quick - and I could do without coffee - even thought it would be awful!

But what I could not do without is a TOOTHBRUSH!! I hate that fuzzy feeling your teeth get when they need to be brushed. And deodorant. 39 days on a tropical island. No bathing. BLECH! Everyone else may want to smell like eu de goat, but not me thanks. Toothbrush, and deodorant.

That's what I would do instead of a board game, a deck of cards with picture on the back, except the picture would be of my cat.

Other than the above things that contestants are always provided with, do you suppose they can get other OTC health items from medical without much hassle?

Do you think they can go up to medical after a challenge and say "I have a KILLER headache, can I get some aspirin?" and that medical will give them some? Or "Geeez I do not know what was wrong with those crabs we ate for dinner last night, but my stomach is SO messed up" and medical will give them a dose of Pepto?

Or is that just part of being on Survivor?? Unless your health is in danger, you just deal??
