Our family of four is heading to WDW on June 20th... We know that the heat/humidity will be brutal, but it’s the only time we can go, so we want to make the best of it! Would love to hear your suggestions for surviving the heat! Thinking about getting some cooling towels - anything else to add to the Amazon cart? Thanks!

We use cooling towels, misting fans (we put ice cubes with the water), hats. This trip I bought stainless steel and silicone straws so we can sip water without taking our mask off. I usually wear yoga pants to keep the sun off my legs yet it’s breathable enough that it doesn’t make me hotter.

We'll be there June 23rd and I am also nervous about this. While I love wearing all my Disney tanks, I'm packing moisture wicking/exercise type clothes for us. I'll wear the cute Disney stuff for night. I'm also packing those neck fans, cooling towels, and a mini UV umbrella in case we're in the sun in lines.

We plan on taking breaks but one or two days we want to try and power through.... we'll see how that goes. 😳 I'm really, really hoping we see actual late night hours return for June...

We always go in June. My advice is to embrace the June rains, it will cool down the day and make things much more bearable - so many people leave, but I’d recommend sticking it out, the rains are typically super short lived.

Also, we always plan a sit down lunch (not quick serve), to help rejuvenate us when things are starting to get stupid hot.

The water-fan things are nice. And drink lots of water.

Oh, and Animal Kingdom gets stupid hot and humid- more so than the other parks. Plan accordingly.

Cooling towels, wearable fans (that hang in your neck), stay hydrated, afternoon breaks at resort or TS dining. Bring a change of socks for sweaty feet.

we are also packing a couple small umbrellas for the rain AND to use in line. With social distancing many lines extend to uncovered areas to avoid sun beating on us we will have small umbrellas if needed.

Save indoor AC rides for mid day ie. Carrousel of Progress, Tikki Room, Haunted Mansion, Philarmagic etc

Pack some disposable masks. I went in August with both cloth and disposable masks and I found that with the humidity the disposables were more comfortable. I have been a couple other times when it was hot but the humidity wasn't as high and the cloth were fine then, but I've been prepared with both.
