surprising DW with a 17th anniversary trip tp disney

In July will be our 17th wedding anniversary. since nobody we know can take our kids for long weekend for that time..Plus I have to scheme with her boss to change her work schedule then... I am just going to pack the car at night and on the way out that day I am just going to drive and say to them We are going to WDW!!!!!.. then I am giving her a Gift of a Lifetime to on that day....while in the MK.. her fave park...

Cool joe! I'm sure your DW will love the surprise - my DW wouldn't want to have a trip like that sprung on her. she'd kill me if she didn't get a chance to pack appropriately.

Maybe your bathroom can be done before then - just make sure you do it her way.

If there's any chance that she'd be unhappy about not packing her own stuff maybe you could tell her at home when she has only an hour or so left before you leave? I know though that I would be thrilled with a surprise like this whether I packed or not!

for 17 years I owe her a suprise.. I slipped up and by mistake told her when her wedding shower was going to be held.. and she always reminds me of that. So For once i am going to knock her socks off.

That is so cool. I did that with my dw once - well almost. I got cold feet, knowing her temperament, and told her a month in advance so she would be willing. I didn't want the trip to start on a bad foot. Have a great time.
