Surprising Castaway Club member with cruise?

Hello! I am surprising my best friend with a Disney Cruise in March. She has been on a Disney cruise before and is a Castaway Club member. I removed her linked account from mine and created a new profile on my account for her so she wouldn’t get notified that it was booked, but the booking is still automatically connecting her Castaway Club number to her name and I can’t remove it. Does anyone know-will she receive any emails from Disney about the cruise since her Castaway Club number is linked? I really want her to be surprised! Thank you!

I'm thinking she'll be receiving any general email info regarding the cruise. I'm not sure you can block her being notified about the cruise.

In my experience (11 cruises) Disney only seem to send emails regarding the booking to the lead passenger even when people I’m sailing with are CC Members and accounts fully linked to booking

I concur with this, it’s only the lead guest who gets all the emails.

Even if others are living at another address? I thought I read that luggage tags get sent to separate addresses, even if they're on the same reservation.

All the people on my past reservations except for one occasion have lived at different addresses, they will get the tags sent to their own address correct but this can be avoided by having their address on the reservation the same as yours

I don’t live in the US and receive luggage tags about 25% of the time, and almost always after the cruise.

Also not in the US and currently 9 out of 11 on receiving tags, I think I’m one of the lucky ones who actually gets them in time, usually
