Hello,
A friend of mine is getting married at Disney in 2013 and I already started a bit of planning. My boyfriend will be my date for the wedding, but we want to stay for a week to visit the four main theme parks and universal studios/islands of adventure.

The thing is, my sister has always wanted to go to WDW and now HP world, and her birthday is a day before her birthday! I want to take her without her paying a thing, but I want to surprise her the night before or, a few days before the trip.

Any ideas on how to surprise a 29 y/o (turning 30 then) who's dream has always been to go to WDW?

1. Make sure that she is able to get the time off from work. Possibly contact her supervisor to arrange the time off.

2. Make sure that she has no other plans for the week.

3. Make a copy of her flight reservation and include it in a Disney Birthday Card.

Make sure she gets the time off from work. You are going to have to at least inform her of the dates. Also in advance so she doesn't use her vacay time for something else.

You don't have to tell her where she's going, but I think in order for this to work you are going to have to tell her some things. What to pack, how long being gone, does she have pets or kids that need to be cared for while she's going? Things like that need to be arranged ahead.

Heck...just knowing somebody was taking me on a FREE trip to Disney--you could tell me months in advance & I'd still be uber shocked the day of.
