Surprise trip & MDE accounts

Help me prevent MDE from spoiling a surprise trip! I have a trip planned this Fall but I'm keeping it a surprise from the rest of the family until a few months out. I've been to WDW once (limited MDE knowledge!) so I have a MDE account. The rest of my fam has never been and don't have accounts. MDE is insisting on sending them invitations to join in order for me to add the resort reservation to my MDE. I want to add the reservation so I can make the dining reservations at the 180+10 mark. I'm thinking of creating their accounts but using my email address. (There is 0 chance they would create their own accounts in the meantime. We live in CA, WDW isn't on their radar!) Then when it's time to tell them about the trip I can change the email adresses to theirs.
Is this an ok idea or am I about to really screw accounts up? I don't want to mess up their MDE accounts and I don't want the trip surprise spoiled! Any other solutions?

Set it up so you manage their accounts. You can do this in the Family and Friends section. That way it won't ask for their emails.
