Surprise trip for dd

We are leaving on January 3 for a surprise trip. We are surprising dd (6 1/2) on the morning of the 3rd. We are planning on letting her think that she is going to school and then we are going to head for the airport. We will be in Disney from the Jan 3 (arrive in Orlando around 6:30pm) till Jan 14 (we fly out around 1pm I think and get home around 9:30pm). We are staying at All Star Movies, we have a van rented and many meals booked (CRT, PB in Norway, 1900 Park Fair, Crystal Palace, and Alice's Tea Party). While we are there it will be baby dd's first birthday (Jan 5) and dh's birthday (Jan 10).

What advice can you give me. I specifically need any advice on packing for the weather and packing for a baby. We have never taken the baby anywhere. This will be her first time on a plane and in a hotel and being busy all day during the day.

The trip sounds wonderful. That is our favorite time of year to go. You will find almost no lines or crowds. The hours are short so plan for that. Weather can varry a lot. Pack layers that you can shead as the day warms up. We found a sit down lunch really broke up the day and if it was cold gave us a chance to warm up. When we stayed at All stars in Jan, we did not take mid- day breaks as the trip back to the room, and early closing hours really cut into our day. With such a little one however, it might be worth it. WE found WDW transportaton from All- stars to be pretty good. Food court has pretty good food and lots of choices. We took breakfast foods for our room that year and used the toaster and microwave in the food court. No coffee pots at values so if you need that you might want to pack your own. Pack the swim suits, late afternoon can be be ok for swimming and the pool is cute. Just relax and have a blast!!!!
