We will be spending a week (renting points) at the BWV next April. My son will be turning 11 during our stay and was wondering if I could have something delivered to our studio while we were out so he would have a birthday surprise when he returned. Does anyone know if this can be done? If so what are the choices? I'd even take something as simple as a towel animal from mousekeeping. Also, does anyonke know if the Boardwalk Bakery does birthday cakes and/or cupcakes?
Thanks

Sorry, i'm no help with this but will be celebrating my oldest DS bday in oct when we go. I think i have seen some other posts in mousecellanous about flowers, signed pics or soemthing in some other threads. Might want to check them out.

We just celebrated my son's 11th on a trip to BC last week (traditional ressie that was made before we joined.) I mentioned to the front desk that it was his b-day and later in the day, there was autographed picture and birthday greeting from Mickey Mouse in the room. You can also arrange for a birthday wake-up call from Goofy. Finally, I believe you can order something from the Disney Florist or Memories by Betsy to be delivered to the room (so long as you are all checked in and situated.) And I'm pretty sure that BW Bakery can handle the cake for you - check out the cake thread over in "Restaurants" for more info:

Although I've yet to order from her I've read lots of good things on her service and iirc she delivers to resorts.
ETA - removed link, apparantely peggy is no longer accepting orders as she is going to work for Disney Florists.

You might want to check out this link, read good stuff on their service too

The easiest way is to simply check the room service menu when you arrive. There will be a listing for Birthday In-Room Celebrations. It includes a cake, some confetti, party hats...We did this for DS's b'day when he turned 8 and the cake was to die for! You call room service and set up what you want. They will come and set it up when you are out of the room if you ask them to. I think you need to give them 24-hour notice.
