Surprise budget trip

I just had to share my excitement with you all. I got a pin code today for February for a value room. I told my husband about it and he said "book it" even though we have a trip scheduled for September. It's just the two of us going and we are only staying for two nights. Getting in late on a Monday, spending Tuesday at Epcot and flying home early Wednesday. He'll only have to miss two days of work.

We aren't spontaneous people but our kids are mostly grown and he runs his own business so we do have flexibility.

It's going to be so fun.

I'm impressed you managed to keep it so short. If it were me, I'd be adding a few hours before, a few hours after... until our 2 night stay turned into 7! Lol

My husband tried. I said nope. With airfare, the hotel and a one day ticket it was about $500. If I can keep it super cheap I can do more trips. Trust me it was hard to resist but in the long run it'll be worth it once he realizes if we do little trips we can get bounceback offers on bigger trips.

we legit did the exact same thing! We are going over Labor Day weekend and just booked at all star sports for 2 nights Feb 3&4 because I happen to have a couple vacation days already scheduled then.We got a super cheap flight too! We are doing Epcot Monday and maybe MK after hours and HS Tuesday and flying home Wednesday!
