What would you do?

Goofydad is taking me back home without our children next month. :cloud9:

Are there any special things you would do?

We are staying at OKW.

Something that my DH found our last trip, sitting in the covered swinging bench on Poly beach and the Yacht Club beach. Very romantic...watching Wishes from the Poly beach.

We do lots of adult only trips and these are the things we enjoy:

Dinner at Victoria & Alberts. If that's too much for you, book one of the 3 upscale restaurants at the Swan/Dolphin. They are much more adult oriented than any of Disney's signatures and they have better food.

Tours. Since most of the tours have an age limit, it's fun to do these. My personal favorites are 2 of the 3 Segway Tours. Segway Around the World goes through the World Showcase and the Wilderness Segway is an offroad tour around Ft Wilderness. I'd also love to try the new tour at Animal Kingdom.

Spa treatments are always good.

La Nouba at DTD, although a family show, is fun as adults only.

Jellyrolls on the Boardwalk is fantastic. Especially if you walk there after having dinner at the Swan/Dolphin.

Since you are staying at OKW, my favorite resort for relaxation, I'd do some of that too. I love sitting on the balcony at OKW for coffee and book reading in the morning.

Rent a couple of beach chairs at Typhoon Lagoon and spend a day relaxing there.

Ditto everything Pakey said in PP. We love V&A, tours & spas. Don't forget Olivia's at OKW either. For a romantic ADR, try Bistro de Paris at the France pavilion. Get a late ADR & ask for a table by the window facing the lake for a partial view of fireworks. Late ADR's are quieter & much more relaxed. Bistro has been voted 3 years in a row as best theme park restaurant in FL. DW & I really enjoyed our last trip without children the week after Thanksgiving (TR link below). Much less commando & much more relaxed pace.

We are going on an adult only trip to OKW this September.:love:So excited! So glad to hear from the previous poster that Bistro de Paris is good. It's our first time eating there, so we are excited. We plan on taking it veery easy and just enjoy the resort. We also plan on taking the monorail to GF and Poly to enjoy a drink. Plan on playing shuffleboard and tennis and maybe doing a tour as it is too expensive when there are the 6 of us all there. May stroll around DTD as well - much more fun to do without the kids. We can actually look at stores we want to, instead of what they want. We are only there 3 nights, so I know I have too many things I want to do and need to pare them down, so we actually have time to relax.
