Surfs up with Mickey

We decided to add and extra breakfast on our trip. What is the likely hood that we would meet Daisy at this Character meal? I know I saw her in the window when passing the PPH in October 2010.

That is great to hear. We are taking the cousins for there first trip. The youngest really wants to meet Minnie and Daisy. I told we would for sure meet Minnie and I could not promise Daisy. We are doing Minnie and Friends and also Goofy's. Surf's up with Mickey is a added surprise.

I'm really hoping I am wrong, but it does look like Daisy is no longer appearing there.

We went twice in late November and she was not there - first time in 5 years. Before we had always met her. I had seen on some trip reports before that they mentioned her not being there, so it didn't come as a total surprise. My friends went back last month and also did not meet her.

Who IS there? I have never done this and we are going on Sunday after the race....I am usually a Minnie and Friends girl!

Mickey's is the only place I recall seeing her on a regular basis, but I haven't eaten there since March 2010. I don't ever recall seeing her at Minnie's or Goofy's but it's possible I missed her. At Mickey's I've usually seen Lilo, Stitch, Pluto and Max. There have been others but those were the most common.

Daisy was at Surf's up when we were there in December (and back in May). In December, she came around twice while we were there.

She was also at Minnie's at the Plaza Inn when we went in December. My daughter loved seeing her at both places.

I was told you can only find the elusive duck at surfs up.. no where else in dlr.. we spent a week looking for her

I just looked through our pictures and we did NOT see Daisy at Minnie's. My girls (I asked them earlier) were mistaken. But she WAS at Surf's Up in both May and December.

We saw Daisy at Mickey's Surf Up on 1/7/12. She came around a few times. We also saw Mickey, Minnie, Stitch and Pluto.

We did 3 character meals between 12/30/11 and 1/7/12. We did a dinner at Goofy's and saw Goofy, Pluto, Minnie, Brer Bear, Alice, Mad Hatter, Chip and Dale. We did a breakfast at Minnie's and saw Minnie, Chip, Dale, Pooh, Tigger, Fairy Godmother, Penguins, Donald Duck (which really surprised me), Captain Hook and Smee. Definitely the most characters at Minnie's. My DS1 and DS3 loved it.

Mickey's was the lightest for characters but what I would consider the a lot of interaction. At most of the character meals they stop by your table, pose for pictures and off they go to the next table. At Mickey's they had a DJ who did dances with the kids. Mickey actually started to "twist" my DS1. He was grinning from ear to ear. I also noticed that of all the meals we went to there were fewer other people at Mickey's. Maybe 20 tables at the most. I think if they increased the character interaction they might get more people.

Stitch, Mickey, Pluto. We've also seen Minnie most of the times (really cute outfit), twice Max as suggested. Daisy from 2006 to 2010, but not last year.

I'm really glad to hear Daisy has been spotted meanwhile. I was quite miffed we didn't meet ther this year.

Well I will report back and let you all know as we will be there for Surfs up with MIckey on Friday, Minnies on Saturday and Goofys on Sunday.

Ate there this morning. We met Mickey, Minnie, Pluto, & Stitch.

I don't know if this helps but we stayed there for a long time. Probably close to what is allotted. I found everything takes longer when you have two kids and meals are no exception. By the time I got the kids plates made, cut into little pieces, etc we already had a few characters at our table. I actually missed Minnie on her first round. The characters seemed to circulate 2 or 3 at a time. It may just be a matter of being in the right rotation.

I wonder if it would be worth it to mention to a cast member that you are really hoping to see Daisy? It wouldn't hurt. And as she has been there recently maybe the request is all that would be needed to actually see her.

Daisy actually appears in Toon Town throughout the day beside the garden of Goofy's house, sometimes with Donald, but mostly without. She wears her usual outfit though, not the Hawaiian one.

I spent a weekend in December and a few weekdays there without seeing her. This was taken January 24, a weekday during non-peak times. I think she may only come out then.
