Surfing-How to get there without rental car

Since surfing starts long before the park opens and we are choosing to spend our money on the AKL, etc instead of renting a car, does anyone know how we can get from AKL to surfing at Typhoon Lagoon?

You can get a cab. You might ask whether they reimburse transportation costs and/or would provide a ride.

Pam is right, if you ask they may give you a taxi voucher or make other arrangements for you.

lesson. we decided to rent a car, got week for $125 intermediate with Dollar

That is a GREAT price, $125.00 for a week, an intermediate car, for that kind of money it will make your travel experience alot more relaxable not worrying about where to get a ride from point A to point B
