Supreme Court rules for firefighters

Just heard briefly that the Supreme Court has overruled the lower courts and ruled for the firefighters in the reverse discrimination case. The part of the ruling mentioned was that the fear of being sued by minorities for not qualifying is not sufficient to disregard the promotion exam. Justice Kennedy wrote the opinion.

The time is now to move forward & away from race-based hiring or promotion practices.
