I feel so alone!

I'm having a great time. Everything is done but the wrapping - but I've got lots of time. I have a child with the flu - but he'll be fine, at least he has the tree to look at as he sits on the couch in a daze. I finished my cards yesterday - what's the rush? I'm enjoying the process.

Anyone else?

Have almost all of my shopping done except for some stocking stuffers for DD, but will be getting those tomorow. Will also be doing x-mas cards tomorow. Only have a couple of presents left to wrap and we are baking cut out cookies tomorow. I'm off for 2 weeks and the stress has left the building!

I've been done for a while.. wrapped as I went. Heck, I have even paid off the credit card I used already.

Cards have been sent, pictures have been done. (love those free digital prints at CVS!!). I can't bake (no oven).

Its very relaxing. Its been fun just enjoying the season!

I knew ds was coming home for 2 weeks, so I got everything done early and I am just sitting back enjoying the holiday. I may bake some cookies today, but then again I may not!! I saved vacation time so I will just enjoy my time at home!

I'm not stressed about christmas. For the first time ever I had my christmas shopping done a couple of weeks ago. I wrapped it and brought everything up to my parents (where we spend christmas) the last time we were there househunting, so I don't even have to try to get everything crammed into our car this trip. I'm just looking forward to spending some time with the family and then our cruise for New Year's after that. I'm know my family is as crazy as everyone else's (when I tell stories about them people think I exaggerate, and then when they meet them, they realize the stories are TRUE) but living far from them for the last 11 years or so has made me realize just how important they are to me. We are finally going to be able to afford to move back after deciding we wanted to move back about 5 years ago and I'm really happy that this is the last christmas that we have to fight traffic on the NJ turnpike and I95 to visit (though before that it was a flight from texas, so I'm grateful I at least don't have to deal with the expense and hassle of that!)

I think sometimes we get so caught up in the day to day minutia that we forget just how good we have it.

Out of town presants hand delivered. Santa stuff all wrapped, stocking stuffers done and in bags waiting.
We just got back from Disney last week, and did not do christmas cards. I am doing New years cards instead. Thats an easy fall back if you run out of time....
Good thing I am done as 2 of my 4 children are in bed not feeling well. I don't think it's the flu, no fevers just jumping stomachs, So we shall see.::yes::

Somehow, ever since I learned my cancer diagnosis, nothing much seems to stress me any more. It's just not worth it. I'm enjoying life, family and being optimistic.

I don't feel as if I need to do everything for everyone and have started a medical leave of absence where I work part time -- that has helped immensely.

Take it easy and enjoy!

I am not stressed either. Everything is done. I actually wish tonight was Christmas Eve I am SO excited! LOL! :)

I feel so much better now! Thanks guys! My son's fever is down today so we're going to make a gingerbread house (I bought a kit -stress free!) - a few germs won't matter since we're not going to eat it anyway.

Maybe tonight after the kids go to bed I'll turn on some Christmas music and have a wrapping session. I always enjoy that.

I'm also lucky to have the time off (I'm a substitute teacher so I'd be home anyway with my sick child). My last Christmas Caroling gig was last night too - so no more working for money for two weeks. Yeah!

I have done all my shopping, my sister and I did my brothers shopping (he tore his ACL, and can't walk very well, as he can't bend his knee) all my Christmas shopping is done, all but two presents are wrapped, but even when all of those were not done, I wasn't all that stressed out, I LOVE CHRISTMAS.

ME TOO! I was behind but as always things get done...I have to pick up 2 gift cards but that is about it. I like to go out and window shop right before Christmas get my last look at the real Santa! Tomorrow the kids are off from school we will bake some cookies, watch movies, wrap the girts they are giving it will be fun!
I think it is so easy to get caught up and not take the time to enjoy!
We did one of those premade Ginger bread house kits! TONS OF FUN! so much easier and better than cutting and baking it!
