Wondering about Supertarget, but our God-forsaken town of 3 Superwalmarts doesn't even have a "regular" target, much less "Super"! Is a super target like a superwalmart -- does it have a pretty much full grocery? ANd is there a Supertarget near WDW such that shopping could be done there? SI it any good?

I ask because you can get those $25 cards from Hotwire with the $5 back rebate. WOuld it be worth it to stock up on a few of those cards to apply to a grocery stop at a Supertarget? We will have a villa and 8 folks and 10 days...plan on dining in at least a few of the nights, and most every morning! Potentially large grocery stop!

THANKS!

I've never been in one, but saw what I think was a SuperTarget on our way to and from the airport from WDW. I think it was off the Orange BLossom Trail exit, but I'm not sure. If you go to wdwig.com there's a place where you can get directions from the airport to your specific resort, and then it will tell you grocery stops along the way. We stayed at the BWV and this Target was one of the options it gave us.

Hope that helps!

I love SuperTarget!! It is very similar to superwalmart or super Kmart-grocery store & regular store in one. In my opinion, super target is just so much nicer. It seems so much cleaner & brighter & I think the aisles are wider.

I think they have great prices on regular groceries with some different brands and items I just can't find anywhere else. They also have a fabulous bakery/deli area with some great prepared food that would be perfect to have in the room for quick meals away from the park.

Also, our superwalmart is always packed no matter when I go and super target isn't as busy and always has a lot of check out lines open. :cloud9:

We have a new Super Target coming to our area soon. Will be good competition for WM. The best thing is that it opens on my birthday! LOL

From the others that I have shopped I have found them to be an upscale WM type place.

There is a SuperTarget across the street from the Mall at Millennia. If you take I-4 to exit 78 (Conroy Road), the SuperTarget is right there. It's on the left hand side of the road across from the mall. From there, it's only a 15 minute drive to WDW. Very close, convenient, and nice! :)

There is a SuperTarget being built on 92 not far from Disney that is scheduled to open in Oct. of this year I believe. And a Sam's and WalMart is right down the road from that.

That is actually 192.

Many people in the Central Florida area refer to 192 as 92. I have no idea why. You will even see signs, referring to 192 as 92. At first I thought it was 2 different areas.

There is a super Target on Orange Blossom which you will go by on your way to WDW from the airport. It has a huge grocery department and a good deli dept. IMHO it would be a good place to stock up on groceries. :D

Well, there is a 17-92 here, which is the same as 441 and the Orange Blossom Trail, but I've never heard anyone call 192 "92." 192 and 17-92 intersect right in the middle of Kissimmee.

Supertarget kicks butt, though. I do all of my grocery shopping there because the prices are as low as Superwalmart, but without the hassle.

I haven't been in Florida long but had heard it referred to as 92...sorry if it caused any confusion.

Oh boy,

Love Supertargets! We have one about 5 min from my house and I shop there allthe time for groceries. We also have 2 Superwalmarts nearby, but I avoid them as much asj possib.e

ST is clean, well stocked, bright, merch is laid out well so even if you are not familiar with store, you can find your items easily.

Prices are very competitive here, don't know aobut Florida.

When I go into our ST, I usually employees cleaning, dusting, straightening items.

herc.

I guess I may be the lone dissenter, but I was not impressed with Super Target at all. We also have Super Walmart but not ST so I tried it in Orlando. Not sure of the exact location, but I think it was the Orange Blossom Trail one being described. I agree store was large and spacious, but I was not impressed by the selection or prices. If you're looking for a Super store, I'd stick with the Walmart in Orlando.

Alternatively, last time we were there (just a couple of weeks ago) we went to a Publix on S. International Dr. and thought selection and prices were great. Full-service and no club to join.
