For a 5 night stay, our rate went down $9.67. Just had my rate changed on Friday. Should I call again? I just hate the way they refund and charge my credit card again. Can they just keep the same deposit and adjust the rate only?

You just need to talk to the accounting department and they will keep your same deposit. You can have reservations connect you after you are done talking with them.

Thanks Damo. Just changed my rate. We have 2 rooms, so saving $20 could get us a quick breakfast one day. I did ask about leaving the deposit the same; but the operator said the accounting department gets confused. Lucky we have a US credit card and account. Can't imagine paying for all the international exchange service charges!

The operator gave me an email address for accounting and I just dealt with them. Their email address is IOCS@loewshotels.com

We've got a US credit card now too and it sure helps in situations like this. However, when I booked the hotel, for some reason I used the Canadian credit card. Stupid, stupid, stupid.
