Please say yes.

I actually posted this in another forum (So Cal theme parks) & mostly everyone said Universal Studios or Magic Mountain. But to be honest, I'm not interested in either & no one had a concrete answer. I might get lucky & see one...I might not. The almost 5 yo is obsessed you see.

So if they're ON the Disney channel.....why wouldn't they be in the park? If we could get a Superhero autograph & NOT have to go to a different theme park -I'd be so happy.

I kid you not - my DS might hyperventilate if there was a superhero equivalent to Goofy's Kitchen.

Does Mr. or Mrs. Incredible count? Maybe Darkwing Duck? Because otherwise you won't find any caped crusaders at Disneyland.

Hmmm, how about Buzz Lightyear? He is a toy of a super-hero (space ranger). :confused3

:thumbsup2

Sadly he's grown out of his Buzz Lightyear obsession & moved onto Marvel & DC Comic heroes. :( I figured it wasa long shot but it couldn't hurt to ask.

DL should cater to boys too. Little girls have the princesses & Toy Story isn't going to keep boys attentions for long. If Disney shows the cartoons, they must have some rights to the characters?

A super hero character meal - I would pay A LOT OF MONEY FOR. Willingly. Hear that Disney Execs!?!?

If you could time your trip to take place at the same time as the San Diego Comic Convention, your little one would be in heaven spending a day there. Its a bit of a drive, but people do the SeaWorld thing all the time no problem. Something to consider. It is an experience for sure!

Someone mentioned it on the other forum but I doubt we'll be near Anaheim or SD in July. Most likely this will be a fall or winter vacation. If he is obsessed forever, we may gibe Comicon a try when he's older.

As for SD- we drove from Newport Beach to SD on a Saturday...took us 3 hrs!!! :confused3

Hollywood is a very inbred industry - the shows that are on one channel are not necessarily made by or for that channel. (My hubby works in the industry...)

Universal Studios has the rights to the Marvel ones and Warner Brothers to the DC characters.

Universal is the one that has partnered with Stan Lee on numerous projects for Marvel (Spiderman, the Xmen movies, the Who wants to be a Superhero reality show, to name a few. You will occasionally see Marvel Characters doing a motor car parade in Universal.

The Superman and friends cartoons are made by WB and they have no public outlet for their "marketing".

Unfortunately, Disney will never have characters in the park that they did not develop with their own branding. (Those Pixar characters were always owned by Disney - even before the merger....)

i have thought they need to do more boy things for a while pirates meal would be cool lol

Nope. As I answered in the other thread, Magic Mountain has the rights to play host to Warner Brothers characters. In fact, "Superman the Escape" is the name of a ride there.
