Supercallifragilistic-ADR'sApproachUs! May '09 PTR *Trip Report has Begun! Pg. 208*

I'm glad you liked my poem. I was so excited last night, that it reminded me of Christmas Eve. Yes, we still need one more person. Maybe I will come up with another poem.
LL, if you need another person for the PP cd I would love to get in on it with you.
Now I need to go back and finish reading.:rotfl:

Sounds SO wonderful!!!! Were you nervous while you were on the phone, because just reading about it made me doubly anxious for you and also for me when I get to my ADR window!!! YIKES!!!

Yay for your ADRs!! :cool1: Doesn't it feel so good??

I'm new to staying on property and WDW transportation, so tell me about taking the boat to WCC... We are eating there on April 30th. We'll be at AK that day, maybe with a break at CBR in the afternoon (depending how early/late we get to AK). Where do you get the boat from?? We are planning to go to MK after for Spectro & Wishes. Does the boat sound like an option for us either before or after??
From Wilderness Lodge you can take the boat to Magic Kingdom or vice versa. We love, love, love the boat to and from WL. It's so relaxing, especially when you have been on buses all week!

I wasn't too bad once I get Le Cellier straightened out. That was the one I was most worried about. I wanted to make sure we went there since that was the ADR that got Jen and I talking about her coming down to WDW while I was there! :thumbsup2

Twas the night before ADRs could be made and

LL looked up menus on Allears, she studied and pondered.

Tour Guide Mike told her which parks to avoid and when.

LL wrote down those ressies she wished to claim,

In her Tink notebook with neat penmanship and care.

LL set her alarm way too early for a Saturday and signed off the DIS.

With thoughts of polenta, breakfast pizza and chocolate moose dancing in her head,

LL WISHES ALL A GOOD NIGHT AND HAPPY ADR EVE!

This is absolutely the funniest thing I have read! So cute and clever!

I love all your reservations. I totally cannot figure out how you could not get the Crystal Palace earlier than 8:30 this far out... it makes me worried and did you want LeCellier for Lunch or dinner?

Hehehe, thanks!

Well the thing about Crystal Palace that makes me worried was that she tried to get me an earlier ADR but she couldn't. She said "well maybe the new system won't let you since you are staying on property and can't make it there that early". I hope she didn't know what she was talking about or that she just doesn't know the new system fully yet because we got there at 8AM last trip for our 8:20 ADR. Crystal Palace starts taking ADRs at 8:05. I'm pretty sure that I made my Crystal Palace ADR for my last trip after the 180 day window opened up and if I remember correctly it was by quite a bit too.
We did want Le Cellier for Lunch because we like the looks of the Akershush dinner menu better but when I did try to see if they had any Le Cellier for dinner nothing was available and I was asking for this around 7:10AM. The only thing I could think was that a lot of people had booked it with the 90+10 rule for staying on property. Maybe if you try for Le Cellier later in your vacation you'd have better luck...?? :confused3

Thank you.:goodvibes
You are so very welcome! :thumbsup2

HMMMMMM...hmmmmmm...Sounds so very very yummy!! First of all thank you for being will to sacrifice special sleeping in time to get the ADRs done that is so cool of you!!

Making ADRs is one thing I am willing to sacrifice sleep for. :rotfl:

I know I am looking forward to all of them. It's going to be so much fun!! :woohoo:

Yaaaay I'm all caught up!

Your ADR's look amazing -- I am getting so hungry just looking at them. I'm excited to see any pics from the GF tea!

I have heard SO many good things about Brown Derby. I'm not sure when we're going to start planning our next trip, but I might have to convince my family to live a little and try someplace new. :scratchin The pistachio cheesecake is calling me since I love both of those, and the grapefruit cake sounds really really good.

Now I'm hungry. I'm still trying to get over the fact that I cannot just walk to the food court and get a slushy and a quick snack.

MinnieNurse : Was it the flourless chocolate cake? I read a TR not too long ago that had a picture of something that sounds like what you're describing.

Hello :wave2: I decided to stop lurking and join in the fun. We are going to Disney the beginning of May. I gave up sleep for ADRs also and I am not a morning person. My hubby thinks I'm crazy. We are going to Akershus for lunch. I wasn't sure about the menu but we want to see the princesses (top priority with a 4yr old princess). I am really enjoying your report.

Yayyyy you got your ADRs made!

I have to admit, I've never been committed enough to get up early to make them... but it looks like it paid off for you. I can't wait to read all about your restaurant adventures. The food is one of my favourite parts of Disney.popcorn::

Brown Derby is so good, you should really convince them to try it. It was one of my favorites from last trip if not my favorite. Maybe it was the flourless chocolate cake.

The food is way up there as one of my favorites. I love planning the ADRs. It's a sickness. :rotfl:

Crystal Palace...8am. Got it :thumbsup2

Okay now can you figure out how to convince DD that it will be much more fun to have her bday breakfast THERE instead of the castle??? I am so DONE with paying $125 for breakfast at the castle.

Yeah, I don't blame you. What about Akershush breakfast instead?

It is cheaper but I'm sure we will be spending her whole bday at MK. I plan on doing 1900 PF for dinner because we all LOVE that one but I don't know what to do about breakfast. :confused3

I only have 8 month to figure this out :rotfl2:
