My DF and I will be in WDW on Superbowl Sunday, I was wondering if anyone knows where the game will be televised? Is there anywhere inside one of the parks?

Thanks! :)

Splitsvile at DTD have an event for the Super Bowl. It's ticket only though I'm not sure if any are left x

We've been there on Superbowl Sunday before. I don't know of anywhere inside the parks with televisions.

All the resort bars with tvs will show it I'm sure. And the bars over at Boardwalk too.

I was in Disneyland Paris during the World Cup final. The game wasn't broadcast anywhere in the park, but the crowds were very, very light. I can't think of anywhere in any park where they would have the game on, but it should be a good day to ride all the rides.

This. When we were there Superbowl Sunday, everything - and I mean everything - in MK was walk-on. "CM, can we just stay on BTMRR and ride again please?" "Sure!" kind of walk on. They didn't even make us disembark before riding again. It was awesome.

Agree with the PP's that you won't find a place inside the parks to watch the game. I'd guess that the big places like ESPN and Splitsville would be very, very busy that day and you would need to get there early to get a seat.

Probably just about any bar. While we were there my Redskins were playing Thursday Night Football and they were showing it at Rix Lounge at CSR. I wouldn't think it would be too hard to find the superbowl being televised somewhere.

As far as inside the parks, you may have some trouble finding a bar with televisions.

I have seen ESPN Club at the Boardwalk put up outdoor bleacher seating for the Super Bowl. If you want to be outside, a pool bar at a resort should have it on to but I guess you could run the risk of the bar closing on you since the game will run until 10:00ish.

You could always do Epcot that day early and then head out International Gateway to the ESPN Club on the Boardwalk.

Another vote for ESPN Club at Boardwalk. It'll be the first restaurant towards the left as you exit Epcot from the International Gateway, in the world showcase. Though, it will probably be incredibly busy/crowded.

ESPN club has a VIP section where you make reservations and have to spend a minimum amount of money but it would not surprise me if it is a full already for the SB. You could always call and check. If you are going to try to walk in, be prepared for an early forming line to get in.

I knew when I first read this that people would suggest the ESPN Club.

I have read reports that to even get in for Super Bowl Sunday you have to get in line before the place opens around 10:30. So expect a long day. :thumbsup2

It may even be worse now that you can reserve a table, I too think they are all booked up, which means less "stand by".

Unless you need a group experience watching it you room is probably going to be the easiest way to watch it.

In 2011 we watched the Superbowl at Rix's Lounge at CSR... had a great time :thumbsup2

WDW historically does not show live television in any Parks.

The only exception I know of was during the last World Cup when there was a TV showing the matches in Guest Relations at Epcot.

Disney probably made this exception because World Showcase had several countries involved-that's my guess anyway.

To my knowledge,ALL Resorts will have the Super Bowl on ALL their TVs----Values will have it on their Food Court TVs,Moderate and Deluxe lounges will have it on,etc.:)

I "think" some locations will even have "Super Bowl Parties".:)

If it's not being aired on an ABC or ESPN station, it may not be on the TV's in the resort rooms.

Our friends were down there for the Winter Classic and couldn't get it on the TV's in their room.

I'm sure the bars will have it on.

Good luck!

As long as the resort TV's can get Fox, which I'm pretty sure they can, shouldn't be a problem.

What station played the Winter Classic? I thought it was regular NBC which again shouldn't have been a problem. :confused3

I'm not sure but it probably was NBC. These are huge hockey fans and said they were shocked how it was blocked from the TV's. Weren't too happy about it either!

Maybe it was a regional thing. I now remember turning it on and catching the last minutes and it was regular NBC.

Unless you have access to a VIP lounge at one of the attractions, you will not be able to watch the game inside a theme park.

There are no televisions at any lounge inside the parks, with the exception of the Prime Time Cafe and its bar - and their TVs show only clips of 50's television shows.

There are televisions in the sitting room of each Baby Care Center, though. They usually just have Disney animation DVDs playing on them to entertain the little ones. Maybe you could sweet talk a cast member into putting the game on the TV in there. I'm sure they'd appreciate the break.
