Superbowl voucher address problem

I recently received my Superbowl voucher. The problem I have is that my address does not match. I am staying temporarily w/my mother because my house is under construction. My drivers license has my old address. Can I use my passport to verify my name? Will they question my address?

the passport was listed as one form of ID that is acceptable with the SB promo.

on page 3 of your passport, you are required to write in pencil your address.

the reason the gov't says to use pencil is so you can change it when ever you move.

you should not have a problem. write the address in there.


and yes, if your passport is not signed or not have an address in it, you can get nailed on it not being "official".



i got nailed last year leaving Canada going back to the states.......

I understand the reason for the address must match but in this economy many crazy things are happening and of course the idea that the ticket are for one per household, technically makes no sense sense at least here in the northeast (NYC) we have two family homes (legal) such as mother daughter homes and apartment building which of course there's only one address for hundreds to thousands of people so techincally many people living in the same building could win and their ID would be at the same address. I know what the rules say but when you visit in person or even over the phone they deal with you on a one to one basis and not with a iron fist. I have been able to work out many things with Universal simply by speaking with a supervisor or higher up very politely and they have been more than accomodating. They are hurting for business as is every sector and heavy handiness is not what the intelligent sucessful business is able to afford to practice these days. I know you will do well with presenting your case to the right individual and they will try to help you. If your home burned down (God Forbid) and you had your ticket mailed to where you are presently living that would be a mitigating circumstance and a person would be able to see that and assist you - don't be to worried you bring up a very valid point and they seem to be very willing to work with people in such circumstances. Rules are rules and they have their place but thank goodness we have the intelligence to know that rules are there to prevent abuse but not to exclude the innocent. I suggest getting in touch with a Universal supervisor (there's probably a Superbowl promotion program coordinator at Universal that you can speak to with some effort on your part).
DISCLAIMER: This is not an illegal method of cirmcumventing The RULES of Universal. This is my suggestion of speaking to Universal (a person of higher authority) and present your case on a individual basis and completely not a back handed sneaky cheating way around this individuals problem. I say let Universal decide what they will and will not do and not assume they are not willing to hear an individual with there particular problem / question.

I agree with Kaitlynangel2. I don't think you will have any problems once you explain this. I would go to guest services to redeem your voucher rather than the ticket windows. Guest Services will most likely be able to work this out for you. This used to happen with the FL ticket mailers for free tickets. Sometimes the person would move. Since the name on the voucher matches to your ID and you can explain the address discrepancy, I doubt that you will have any problems. Do you have any mail addressed to you with that address that you could take? or just use your passport as Macraven suggested.
