Super Walmart near WDW?

First, I apologize for repeating this question, but I had this info bookmarked and our laptop crashed. Now I don't have the information we need. Someone posted a wonderful map of all the Walmarts/Super Targets/Publix in the area. Also, it was mentioned there was a Super Walmart by Animal Kingdom Lodge area. If someone would be kind enough to post this information (again!), I would appreciate it. Thank you so much. Lucy

Start with Osceola Parkway. From AKL you are directly on OP. From All-Stars turn left at the first traffic light and that puts you on OP. From anywhere else either take World Drive to OP and turn left, or take Buena Vista Drive to Victory Way Southbound (which passes Pop Century) and turn onto OP just before WWS.

This will take you to Osceola Parkway Eastbound. Follow this street off-property.

You will pass I-4, the Gaylord Palms Resort, the Greeneway (SR 417), and then a traffic light at Seralago Blvd. The first ramp exit is marked SR-535, Poinciana Blvd, and US 192. It also says it is a 75¢ toll. Take this exit. Note, you must have exact change.

At the Stop Sign at the bottom of the ramp turn left. Cross Under the Osceola Parkway. The road curves to the right and the very first left (after the curve) takes you into the Super Wal-Mart parking lot.

This happens to be the largest Wal-Mart I have ever been into.

Going back, exit the parking lot where you came in. Make a right. Just before you go under the overpass the entrance to Osceola Parkway is a ramp on your right. Note again you must have 75¢ in exact change for the toll.

This will take you back onto WDW and just look for the signs for your Resort.

thank you so much for your response.....sounds like it is out of the way for groceries/cosmetics......how far away is this? Last year we tried to find a Walmart (for our DVC) and ended up in Kissimmee...way too far, plus it was very old. We are staying at BLT for 8 nights, and then a cruise, and would like to shop at the beginning of our trip. We will have a rental car. Thanks again.

From the airport take the South Exit and pick UP SR417 (The Greeneway) West/South to Exit six. When you get to SR 535 turn left. You will then pass under 417 and the second (or third) traffic light is the entrance to the WalMart on your right. If you go under Osceola Parkway you have gone too far.

Choose this Target: 3200 Rolling Oaks Boulevard, Kissimmee, FL 34747

It is closer to AKL, and newer and cleaner than the Super WalMart, plus you would not have the same traffic woes you would have on SR535.

There are 2 Walmarts that are right at 7 miles from World Drive, 8990 Turkey Lake Road 6.8 miles and 3250 Vineland Road Kissimmee FL 6.7 miles.

Via taxi, I really don't know. I drive to WDW so I have my own and just go where I want to go.
