We are flying into the John Wayne Airport and staying at the Motel 6 on West Disney Way and I was wondering what is the most cost effective way of transportation? Is the Super Shuttle usually on time? Any comments appreciated.

It depends on how many are in your party. Super Shuttle charges per person, while a taxi is a flat rate. I used Super Shuttle in April, and it was quick and easy, but our hotel was the first group to be dropped off. I think with an entertainment book discount, I paid $16 round trip. A taxi is about $35 flat rate to the DLR area.

Like he said, it does depend on how many people are going to be with you. Taxis will certainly get you there a lot faster though.

Depending on the size of your group, you can also book a private van or private car, which would be direct to your hotel. These are usually flat rate, not pp. Only the shared rides are pp.
