Super Quick Tiny Question....HELP!!!

So I decided to make some things for DD for our upcoming trip. In four days. She's had a really bad year, between her Dad being a horses behind a little bit and losing our sweet lab this past Thursday. Oh, and she tore a tendon in her hand last saturday and might need surgery.

SO...today I have made her a sparkly t-shirt that says princess with flowers and a really cute stick person princess, shorts to match with a crown on the bottom and more flowers and I'm going to put dangly ric-rack stuff on them both. Yes, it's tacky. But that's the kinda girl she is.

Question...Can I put the dangly ric-rack stuff & and feather boa on the top of a drawstring back pack or will it muck up every time she opens/closes it?

Just knowing what I had on my backpack draw string(my watch) yes it did get messed up each time until I figured out how to hang the watch another place..you don't want to mess up a good thing..
