Super Glue! Is my shirt ruined?

I was fixing a toy in my preschool class today and got super glue on my shirt. There's one streak where the glue turned white and another area where it's clear. The glue package said if it gets on clothing to rinse with large quantities of water. Well, I was at work and that wasn't really an option!

When I got home, I took the shirt off and treated the areas with Spray n' Wash. Is there anything else I can do? Is the shirt a goner? The fabric is a t-shirt type knit. Any experiences with this or advice would be appreciated!

Once super glue dries it's impossible to get it out of clothing. I speak from experience! Sorry about your shirt!

Try soaking it in water now & see if it works, it may not at this point but what you got to lose?

I'll second this. It has to be the type of nail polish remover that contains acetone, or it won't help. That may make the cure worse than the disease -- you'll have to test it to see if it will damage the fabric by itself first.
